Since beginning his real estate career in 2004, Chad has worked across nearly every facet of the industry, including development, investment, commercial real estate, residential sales, and renovation. Today, he co-leads the company’s renovation division, combining construction expertise with a strategic approach to creating exceptional homes throughout the Charleston area.

Born in Chicago and raised in Upstate South Carolina, Chad Johnson brings a broad perspective and decades of experience to every real estate transaction. A proud Clemson graduate and lifelong Tiger fan, Chad briefly pursued graduate studies at the Medical University of South Carolina before discovering his true passion in real estate development.

Since launching his real estate career in 2004, Chad has built an extensive background in real estate development, investment, commercial real estate, residential sales, and luxury home renovation. Today, he and his wife, Angie, co-lead Island Park Renovations, overseeing every aspect of the renovation process—from acquisition and planning to construction and design. This hands-on experience gives Chad a unique ability to recognize a property’s potential and help clients make confident real estate decisions.

Chad has been recognized as a Realtor® of Distinction, honoring the top-producing REALTORS® in the Charleston area, and is a member of the East Cooper Top Producers Club. He has also served on the Board of Trustees for Charleston Stage/Dock Street Theatre, the Advisory Board of Charleston Bilingual Academy, and the Board of Directors of Palmetto Christian Academy’s Athletic Booster Club.

Chad and his high school sweetheart, REALTOR® Angie Johnson, have been serving Charleston clients together for more than two decades while raising their three sons. Their complementary backgrounds in sales, investment, construction, and design have helped them build a loyal client base and a reputation for delivering exceptional results.

Outside of real estate, Chad enjoys running, golfing at the Daniel Island Club, and spending time with family. Few people know Daniel Island as well as Angie Johnson. One of the island’s top-producing REALTORS® since 2003, she spent more than two decades living, working, and raising her family on Daniel Island while helping shape one of the Charleston area’s most distinctive communities. For more than 25 years, Angie has been helping clients navigate the Charleston real estate market with exceptional service, integrity, and unmatched local knowledge.

After graduating from Clemson University, Angie continued her graduate studies at the University of South Carolina before beginning her career in education. She taught in the classroom and later served as an administrator with the South Carolina Department of Education, experiences that shaped the communication, organization, and advocacy skills that continue to define her approach to real estate today.

Over the course of her career, Angie has helped thousands of clients buy and sell homes while earning a reputation for exceptional service, integrity, and deep market knowledge. Her commitment to the Charleston community extends well beyond real estate through numerous leadership roles, including many years on the City of Charleston Planning Commission. She has also served as Vice President of Finance for the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS®, on the Chamber of Commerce Economic Outlook Board, and on the Board of Directors for the South Carolina Association of REALTORS®.

In addition to real estate, Angie and her husband, Chad, co-lead Island Park Renovations, overseeing luxury renovation projects throughout the Charleston area. Working closely with architects, builders, and skilled craftsmen, Angie combines her experience in construction, architecture, and interior design to thoughtfully reimagine homes while preserving the timeless character and charm that make the Lowcountry so special. This hands-on renovation experience gives her clients a unique perspective when evaluating a home’s potential and sets her apart in the Charleston real estate market.

Together, Angie and Chad have built their business on relationships, integrity, and personalized service, earning the trust of generations of clients throughout the Charleston region.

Outside of work, Angie enjoys serving in her church, cheering on both Clemson and Palmetto Christian Academy athletics, and spending time with her family. Whether relaxing in Charleston, enjoying weekends in Pawleys Island, or escaping to Lake Keowee, she appreciates every opportunity to enjoy the places and people she loves most.

Michelle serves as the team’s Transaction Manager, overseeing every aspect of the transaction process from contract to closing. With exceptional organization, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, she ensures every deadline is met and every transaction progresses smoothly. Working behind the scenes, Michelle coordinates closely with lenders, attorneys, inspectors, appraisers, and cooperating agents to keep everyone informed and on track. Her dedication, strong communication, and commitment to excellence allow our clients to enjoy a seamless, stress-free experience, and it’s no surprise that they often remark on how “smooth and easy” the process feels.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband and family and making the most of all that Charleston has to offer. She is the proud mom of a son attending Clemson University and a daughter who is active in dance. Whether she’s cheering on the Tigers, supporting her daughter at dance events, or spending time outdoors with her family, Michelle treasures every opportunity to be together. She also enjoys baking, sewing, and all things crafty.

COLIN JOHNSON | ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

Colin has had a passion for architecture and design from an early age. A graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, he has gained valuable experience working with Cobb Architects and Coastal Creek Design, contributing to a variety of residential and coastal projects. One of his most meaningful experiences was helping design living quarters for the seamstresses of Francis and Benedict in Togo, West Africa.

Today, Colin is an Architectural Designer with Cobb Architects and also supports the family business through Island Park Renovations, where he provides architectural insight, design collaboration, marketing support, and on-site project involvement. He and his wife, Abigail, are proud to be part of the Island Park team and recently welcomed their son, Cove.

Davis Johnson | PROJECT COORDINATOR

Having grown up around real estate, construction, and renovation, Davis has always felt at home on a job site. He is a senior at Clemson University pursuing a degree in Construction Science and Management with a minor in Business, building on a lifelong passion for residential construction.

Through internships with Welch Custom Homes and Owners Choice Construction, Davis has gained valuable hands-on experience working on luxury custom homes and renovations while learning every phase of the building process. Today, he is an integral part of Island Park Renovations, helping oversee projects, coordinate with subcontractors, and contribute on-site whenever needed. Known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and positive attitude, Davis is a valued member of the Island Park team and an important part of the company’s future.

Rebecca and her husband, Craig, have enjoyed calling Mount Pleasant home since 2003. They have four adult children who make their home in Greater Charleston and Savannah, Georgia. Their granddaughter is a Georgia girl, just a two-hour drive south. Rebecca’s love for numbers began as a child and grew through observing her parents grow their family business in Atlanta, Georgia. Since moving to the Lowcountry, she has continued to build on her roots and managed finances for a private company in Greater Charleston.

Knowing there was a great need for businesses to have access to bookkeepers that work with both skill and integrity, Rebecca established High View Bookkeeping Services. Along with managing the finances of clients, she cares for the growing needs of aging parents and enjoys the flexibility for grandparent time with her first grandchild.

Rebecca enjoys music and all things thrifty. She and Craig actively serve in leadership and ministry at Citadel Square Church, Downtown Charleston.

Lane Weinheimer is a Lowcountry woman through and through. She was raised in downtown Charleston and Mt Pleasant and grew up loving the water, dancing and travel. She holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Graphic Design and Spanish, both with honors from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. She is creative, organized and has an eye for beauty. She enjoyed 5 years volunteering for Fashion Week and knows that volunteerism is in her blood. Her favorite volunteer organizations are Lowcountry Orphan Relief and, most recently, Hearts Cry Ministry in Panama. She can often be found surfing, boating, doing photography, or running her graphic design business: Evelyn Lane Design.

Heather has been an integral part of our team since 2004 and boasts nearly 12 years experience in real estate. As our Client Relations Specialist, Heather is responsible for the fun treats you’ll often find in your mailbox or on your doorstep. Heather’s creativity and organization keep us current when it comes to client relationships. Heather also manages our special projects and is the best event coordinator around. Her attention to detail and special touches make every one of our client events a resounding success!

Heather and her husband James were early adopters of the Daniel Island lifestyle. They built their first home on the island in 1999 and are founding members of the Daniel Island Club. “I remember a time when there were no street lights on the island!” Heather says. “It has been remarkable to watch Daniel Island grow into the thriving community it is today. We’ll never leave!”

Family is extremely important to Heather. She is very close with her parents and grandfather, who live locally, as well as her husband’s family in St. Louis. Heather and James dote upon their “children with fur” and you’ll often see them walking their dog Eli around the island. They also have a cat, Jasmine.

For the past 12 years, Heather has volunteered her time as a poll manager on Election Days. She loves putting her talents to use for a good cause while seeing her friends and neighbors. Heather is also active in the prayer shawl ministry at her church and a loyal supporter of the Charleston Animal Society, serving on the committee for the Charleston Firefighter Calendar.

Outside of work and volunteering, Heather enjoys reading, gardening, scrapbooking and is a talented needleworker. As huge Walt Disney fans, Heather and James incorporate a Disney-themed vacation into their plans each year.

Liz and her late husband, Rick Weddington fell in love with Daniel Island and moved here the summer of 2003. Liz calls it “home” and adores the fact that, as much as the community is growing, it still has the small town feel.
Liz was married to Rick for 28 years and has 3 beautiful children: Zach, Sloane and Kylie. During their time together, Rick and Liz had an amazing life filled with love, faith, family, friends and travels that brought them closer to each other throughout the years.
Liz’s 35 years of experience have been in sales related industries. She is truly a people person! Her goals are to always be helpful and she looks for ways to delight our clients. Liz is always willing to listen, give options and especially good at finding a common balance in order to achieve winning results, no matter how long it takes.
In her down time, you might see Liz walking her 10 yr. old Cocker Spaniel, Tipper Toes, or possibly riding her purple passion beach bike. She enjoys hanging out at the local gym and volunteering her time with Edge, the youth group affiliated with St.Clare of Assisi Catholic Church on Daniel Island.
