Be A Tourist in Your Own Town – Part 3

Our trip to Cypress Gardens was so much fun! What a beautiful place. We enjoyed wandering around and looking at the well-done exhibits. One thing I love about living in the lowcountry is the diversity in landscape. Cypress Gardens offers a glimpse of a truly unique habitat. I almost felt like I was in a make-believe place like Narnia! If you’re in the area and haven’t visited, do yourself a favor and make the short drive!

There’s also a very cool aquarium but it was too dark for photos in there. One day I’ll learn to bring my DSLR with me but, with an iPhone, this was the best I could do!

It was a beautiful day. It’s not often that we spend time in a pristine natural environment. At Cypress Gardens I truly felt that we were experiencing a special part of God’s creation. We will be back. Thanks again to the CVB for putting together such a great group of attractions during Be A Tourist in Your Own Town!
