Yesterday and today were just plain HOT. Couple that with the recent rainfall and a more appropriate adjective would be “steamy”. 😉
The heat is helping the crepe myrtles in my back yard. As you can see from the photo, they have never had so many blooms! Our hibiscus blooms are also gorgeous and the other hot weather flowers are showing off.
Daniel Island looks great — even with the heat and lack of rain. I see landscape trucks roaming the island 6 days a week. The grass is still a vibrant green so they’re doing a great job!
It sure is nice to live between two rivers. There’s always a breeze on my front porch. 🙂
