If you’ve been keeping up with news on Daniel Island, you already know that there has been discussion on whether our little island town should remain in Berkeley County or become a part of Charleston County. One of the main concerns in this debate centers around schools. The Post and Courier recently published an article about the direction this may head should Daniel Island leave Berkeley County and be annexed into Charleston County. The four member commission under the direction of Governor Haley is definitely doing their “homework” on this, but I’d like to hear from you. What are you thoughts on the potential annexation?
