Bonnie Cook
Listing Coordinator / Photographer
- Ashley Hall and University of Georgia Alumna
Nine year veteran of Daniel Island Real Estate
Shoe fanatic
It’s safe to say that Bonnie Cooke knows Charleston like the back of her hand—in fact, her family is rooted deep within the city’s history. Her ancestor, Mary Vardrine (sp?) McBee, was a founder of the all-girls preparatory school Ashley Hall. As tradition would have it, Bonnie attended Ashley Hall and went on to study at the University of Georgia where she earned a degree in Marketing and Fashion Merchandising. After working in advertising for several years she transitioned to real estate in 2005 and has been a part of the Daniel Island Real Estate team since.
“Being from Charleston and having such an extensive family history here has made my career in real estate even more meaningful,” she says. “I love sharing my excitement about this city with our clients.”
Bonnie and her husband, Jessen, and three and half year old daughter, Harlie Grace, reside in Mt. Pleasant. In her spare time, Bonnie enjoys reading, exercising and crafting.
Michelle Feix
Building Projects Coordinator and CRM System Administrator
- Lover of sand and sea
- Real Estate and Systems Administration Pro
- Has a green thumb
Always dreaming of living near the ocean, Michelle Feix packed her bags and made the move to the Holy City in 1999—and hasn’t looked back since. She hit the ground running, working in the property management and real estate divisions at Dunes Properties. Eventually, Michelle transitioned into the transportation industry and worked for Maersk-Sealand as a Vessel Coordinator.
Tides shifted in 2004 when Michelle received a call from a colleague who recruited her to work for Daniel Island Real Estate as a Projects Coordinator. With an extensive background in the industry and a knack for systems administration, she was the perfect fit. At Daniel Island Real Estate, Michelle oversees data entry, reporting, and system upkeep. Michelle is also largely responsible for database training, speculative builder listings, and also provides administrative support to the Operations Manager & Vice President of Sales.
It has been 11 years since joining the Daniel Island Real Estate team, and Michelle has never been happier. “Daniel Island itself has so much to offer,” she says. “I take full advantage of the walking trails at lunch and enjoy my view of the marsh and river from my office window.”
Outside of the Daniel Island Real Estate office, Michelle spends her time on the water, gardening, and exploring the Lowcountry with her husband and dog, Piper.
Paige Loew
Closing Coordinator
- Country girl from Alabama
- Licensed broker for over 25 years
- Wife and mother of a 16 year old son
Hailing from Alabama, this country girl packed her boots and moved to the Lowcountry in 1989 after meeting her husband, a real estate attorney from Charleston. After tying the knot, she followed in the footsteps of her husband and became a licensed broker. While she spent many years in real estate sales, Paige eventually realized that she is passionate about working behind the scenes.
When the opportunity presented itself to work for Daniel Island Real Estate as a Closing Coordinator, Paige could not resist. It was the perfect opportunity for her to work close to home and do what she loves
Paige has now been with Daniel Island Real Estate for 11 years and finds it extremely gratifying to help clients through the closing process. Working with attorneys and lenders to make sure everything is in order, making sure contracts are correct, getting earnest money to the right place, preparing closing packets and checklists, and reviewing HUD statements are just a few things Paige does to ensure that the process goes as smoothly as possible. “I am so fortunate to work with such a wonderful group of people everyday, and in such a beautiful place! I absolutely love my job and being able to help our clients,” she says.
At home, Paige is a devoted wife and proud mother of a sixteen year-old son. A talented baker, she loves to bake tasty goodies for her co-workers at the Daniel Island Real Estate office when her time allows.
