Introducing Fish Tale Island – Deepwater Homesites
After a very long wait, we will finally have a selection of Daniel Island deepwater homesites! We are excited to introduce “Fish Tale Island”, an exclusive island neighborhood featuring seven large deepwater homesites with both shared and private docks. All the homesites will have expansive views and water access to Beresford Creek. Included in this release are a handful of golf and interior homesites along with a large marsh-view homesite. As you can see from the map, all the homesites in this release will have easy accessibility to the Daniel Island Club via a new trail at the end of Brailsford Street. The waterfront lots on Fish Tale Island will not have homes in front of them, which allows the owners to capture views from both the front and the rear of their property. There will be special design guidelines for these lots. You can view a draft of the proposed guidelines here.
Pricing will be available on Wednesday, March 2nd. Contracts will be collected until 10:00am on Monday, March 14th.
Right now, it seems that the procedure will be the same as we’ve had for other homesite releases. I’m encouraging everyone to select a few backup choices. In the event that there are multiple contracts, we will go to a drawing format. In the past, we have drawn by names. If your first choice is no longer available, you will receive your second choice, etc. Feel free to call me – it’s easier to explain in person!
The last release of Daniel Island deepwater homesites in Daniel Island Park was in 2007, so this has been a long time coming. Those of us who live on Daniel Island enjoy anything that has to do with water and having a dock in your backyard is the ultimate convenience!
