School is out. Work is wrapped up. Christmas vacation is here! I love, love, love it!! I’ve got the apron out and am ready to bake. For me, the smell of baked goods brings back lots of fond memories. I have recipes for hundreds of different types of Christmas cookies but, today, I think I’m going to make Pumpkin Butter Cake. Mmmm… Here’s the recipe: Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake
The house feels so cozy right now. The weather has been cold so we’ve enjoyed hot drinks and playing games by the fire. I still need to get a few last-minute stocking stuffers but, other than that detail, everything is done! Now it’s time to be together as a family and enjoy the season. So I’m putting on my apron and am about to start baking!
After grumbling about our weather for two weeks, I even love that it’s cold outside! Check out this tree we found at Balfour Park! Beautiful, isn’t it? Colin pointed it out and asked me to take a photo so that we could remember it 🙂
