The “Daniel Island Moms in Business” social was so much fun. I had no idea that I lived around such talented women!
I am embarrassed to admit it but this was my first time to the delightful Sauer Grapes. Marie took excellent care of our large (and noisy) group and spoiled us with great wines, cheeses and tasty small plates. If you’ve never been there, you should stop in sometime. Marie’s wine selection is stellar and her prices are lower than I’ve seen at Costco. The menu is really nice and the atmosphere reminds me a bit of my favorite wine shop — The Grapevine at Baxter Village.
These amazing ladies shared their talents and several brought samples of their goods. What’s better than enjoying wine and cheese while browsing through jewelry and shoes?! Among other things, I was inspired to clean up my eating habits after chatting with Angie Byrd and to value the contributions of professional photographers in an age when everyone snaps photos on their iPhones.
We talked “shop” in a fun environment and can’t wait to do it again!
