On Daniel Island, July 4th is my favorite holiday! Through the years we have enjoyed the annual golf cart parade, concerts, fireworks and other festivities. I’ll never forget the year when paratroopers descended into Etiwan Park. We’ve had so many great memories! The planning has been underway for tonight’s festivities at Smythe Park for over a week. Below is the schedule of events for July 3rd.

Daniel Island July 3rd Festivities

Patriotic Community Parade 5:00 (in front of Bishop England)

Charleston Community Band Concert 6-7 pm (Smythe Park)

Andrew Thielen Big Band Orchestra Concert 7-10 pm (Smythe Park)

Fireworks Display over Smythe Lake 9:15 pm

**There will be lots of activities in Smythe Park including face painting, games, crafts, balloons, art entertainment and more.

Food options

Jim N Nick’s, Holy City Homemade Italian Ice, King of Pops, Kona Ice and Pelican Snowballs. No alcohol will be sold on site so bring your own coolers!
