Simmons Park – Beauty in the Details

Luxury…walking distance…green space. All are words we’ve come to expect here on Daniel Island. The new apartment homes being constructed near Daniel Island’s town center will be no different. “Simmons Park” as it has been dubbed is named after Phillip Simmons, the Daniel Island-born blacksmith who changed the entryways of Charleston into works of art. He understood the importance of adding beauty to our ordinary, everyday surroundings and transformed garden gates, fences, and balconies all over the Holy City.

So it is no wonder that Daniel Island would bring replicas of his artwork here – a place where we also appreciate beauty in our everyday world. The Simmons Park apartments will offer numerous amenities including a large pool, fitness center and a coffee shop, all overlooking a one-acre lake. But the true gem of Simmons Park will be it’s center courtyard, complete with an allee of Oaks, winding brick pathways, and (of course) wrought iron finishes.

Construction has already begun on these new apartments and is expected to be completed in August 2014. With its completion come new possibilities – possibilities for new friendships, new businesses, and a new opportunity to appreciate the beauty in our ordinary, everyday surroundings.
