1. Catch the Leprechaun 5K – Mount Pleasant has its own way of celebrating with a fun 5K benefiting Pattison’s Academy. In true Irish fashion, there is a bagpiper to commence the race and a pot of gold at the end. Maybe you’ll be the one of the lucky ones who win! Registration also includes admission to their St Patrick’s Day Party at Mount Pleasant Waterfront Park.

3. St. Paddy’s Pawlooza – For the pet lovers out there, there is a new pet-friendly event at Wannamaker County Park. Green attire is encouraged for your furry friends too! Live music from a Columbia based Irish band called “The Knock Climb” is sure to get your paws tapping.
